1. Acceptance
By accessing Aula Magna (the "Platform") you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Platform.
2. Who can use Aula Magna
- Students currently enrolled in an Aula Magna programme.
- Faculty, mentors and industry experts with an active teaching or mentoring agreement with Aula Magna.
- Aula Magna alumni with a verified graduation record.
- Aula Magna staff (registrar, finance, admissions, IT) acting within their job duties.
Accounts are issued by Aula Magna — you cannot self-register. Sharing your credentials with anyone else is prohibited and may result in account termination.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
- You must notify Aula Magna immediately at hello@aulamagna.edu if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Aula Magna may suspend your account if we detect activity that violates these Terms or applicable law.
- Information shown to you (grades, attendance, payroll) is confidential — do not disclose it to anyone except as required by law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with Aula Magna.
- Upload content that infringes copyright, contains malware, or violates someone's privacy.
- Attempt to access another user's data, bypass security controls, or interfere with platform operation.
- Use Aula Magna to harass, threaten or discriminate against any person.
- Scrape, copy or systematically extract data except as authorized via the rights granted in our Privacy Policy.
- Submit work for assessment that is not your own (academic integrity — see Section 5).
5. Academic integrity
Submissions, exam scans, attendance and grades on Aula Magna feed your official Aula Magna academic record. Falsifying any of these — including having another person scan attendance for you or submitting AI-generated work as your own without authorization — is treated as academic misconduct and may result in disciplinary action up to expulsion under the Aula Magna Academic Regulations.
6. Intellectual property
Course materials, lectures, videos, assignments and the Aula Magna platform itself remain the intellectual property of Aula Magna or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to access them solely for the purpose of your studies. You may not redistribute, resell or publicly post materials without written permission.
Content YOU create on the platform (your submissions, profile, messages, CV) remains yours. You grant Aula Magna a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display it to authorized users for the purpose of operating the Platform.
7. Fees and payments
Tuition and any other fees are governed by your enrolment contract with Aula Magna, not by these Terms. The Platform may display invoices and payment status; you remain responsible for paying any outstanding amounts on the schedule agreed in your enrolment contract.
Campus Coin is an internal credit unit used for engagement rewards within Aula Magna. It has no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and is not transferable outside the platform.
8. Third-party services
Aula Magna integrates with third-party services (Zoom for online classes, OAuth providers for sign-in, job feeds for the careers board). Those services have their own terms — by using them through Aula Magna you also accept theirs.
9. Availability
We aim for 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, security updates or feature releases that briefly take parts of the Platform offline. Where possible we will give advance notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Spanish law, Aula Magna's total liability arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the fees you paid to Aula Magna for the academic period during which the issue occurred. Aula Magna is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including loss of profit, data, or opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish law.
11. Termination
- You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@aulamagna.edu. We will deactivate access while retaining records required by law (see Privacy Policy §4).
- Aula Magna may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if your relationship with Aula Magna ends. Where possible we will give 14 days' notice.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms to reflect changes in law or in how Aula Magna works. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance via in-app notice and email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be submitted exclusively to the Courts of Barcelona, except where mandatory consumer protection rules grant the user the right to bring proceedings in their place of residence.
